Applications will be accepted each year from December 1st until January 6th, for admission to the following fall program.
Review of applications received after this date cannot be guaranteed.
Applicants should submit a completed School of Graduate Studies
Application for Admission, along with the following items:
- Statement of Objectives/research interest
- Official transcripts for all post-secondary
education
- Three letters of recommendation
- Official GMAT/GRE score report
- Current resume (helpful, but not required)
- Application fee of $50, payable to Case
Western Reserve University
- Official TOEFL score report (international
students whose first language is not English)

Beginning in late fall, applicants are encouraged to apply
online or download
an application from our web site.
An application packet may also be obtained by contacting the
department for your program of interest (see program pages). Please be sure to include your
full name, address and program of interest with your request.
Those whose applications
show promise will then be advised to contact faculty members
in their intended area of specialization to exchange more specific
information and, if at all possible, to come to the University
campus for personal interviews. Foreign applicants may be asked
to travel for interviews with Weatherhead School alumni or faculty
contacts in their home countries, should they not be able to
visit our campus.
