Operations Research or Supply Chain? You Decide!
The rapid pace of technological change in business — computers, software, information systems, problem-solving techniques and others — has increased career opportunities for those who can develop and use these emerging technologies. The MSM-OR and the MSM-SC degrees are designed to give Weatherhead students the skills needed to seize these opportunities.

These two programs share a common focus on finding and implementing practical solutions to managerial problems. The MSM-SC is directed at supporting the manufacturing or service organization’s operations function, while an MSM-OR degree provides quantitative foundations and gives students the opportunity to meet career goals by customizing a specialty in areas such as finance, operations management and information systems.

Both the MSM-OR and MSM-SC programs integrate knowledge of business and its functional areas within a quantitatively-based professional degree curriculum. In addition, the programs stress real-world applications. This mix is rarely available in other business or engineering programs.

The Weatherhead Master of Science in Management is a unique opportunity among U.S. business schools. Building on your undergraduate experience, this program will allow you to gain valuable knowledge and skills and make you more marketable when looking for a job.
